The domestic solar power station will greet explosive growth in 2014

Century Energy Network News: China National Energy Board recently issued “on the solicitation of photovoltaic power construction scale 2013,2014 opinion letter”, requiring that if discard power brownouts does not appear, the scale of the construction of photovoltaic power generation in 2014 will increase by twenty percent than 2013 and the total capacity will reach 12GW. Among them, Distributed PV 8GW and photovoltaic power plants 4GW.

According to the National Energy Board estimates, new installed capacity is about 10GW in 2013. By the end of 2013, China’s total PV installed capacity will reach 16.5GW, including distributed photovoltaic projects 5.7GW, photovoltaic power plants approximately 10.8GW. The cumulative installed capacity in Qinghai was 3.21GW, 2.83GW in Gansu, 1.28GW in Xinjiang and 1.26GW in Ningxia, in addition, 910MW in Inner Mongolia.

Previously the State Council issued “a series of opinions on the promotion of the healthy development of photovoltaic industry” pointed out that Chinese total PV installed capacity will reach 35GW in 2015. This means that in 2013 -2015 the annual growth of PV installed capacity will be 10GW.

China is already the world’s largest producer of photovoltaic cells, but more than 80% of products exported, in recent years United States and European Union initiated anti-dumping and countervailing measures to Chinese PV manufacturers, so that Chinese enterprises export severely affected, Suntech, LDK and other enterprises fell into business difficulties.

However Insiders said that in the first three quarters of China’s top ten solar panel manufacturer Yingli, Trina, Artes, JinkoSolar, Yuhui Solar, Hareo and Risen are developed quite well. Recently, stable prices and declining PV module costs have made China manufacturers reach more than 20% of the profits for the first time since late 2010. According to incomplete statistics, in 2013 the third quarter of the world’s top twenty component vendor’s profit increased 1.2% than the previous quarter growth, in the third quarter was 12.5%, and in the second quarter was 11.3%.
